Show full path in title bar when browsing folder(Xp, 7)

1. Click in Tools menu from Windows Explorer.
2. Click on Folder Options.
3. Select View tab.
4. Check Display the full path in title bar.
Attach your name in Internet Explorer Title bar(xp, 7)

You can add your name any word in your Internet explorer title bar. In this picture I add "Your Name Here" manually. You can add your name here. To add your name in Internet explorer title bar follow those steps.
1. Open Run.(ÿ+R)
2. Type Regedit.(It will open Registry Editor)
3. Go to following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
Convert your important folder as a Drive(xp,7)

Normally we place our shortcut of important folder either in Start Menu or in desktop for quick access. If the folder would be placed as a separate drive then it would better. Here I’ll show you how to convert your important folder as a drive.
1. Open Notepad.
2. Write the following code:
subst “Drive Name”: Path of folder (eg: Subst g: D:\work)
3. Click File then SaveAs.
4. Type the Name Drive.bat and select All Filles as Save as type.
5. Click save.
6. Double click the file.
7. Now open your My Computer.
This is not permanent.
To Convert permanently follow those steps:
1. Copy the drive.bat file
2. Open Run. (ÿ+R)
3. Type shell:startup.
4. Paste the file here.
Add your image in system properties(Xp)

If you want to add your image in system properties, you need a 16bit .bmp image. The size of the image no more longer than 210X105.
1. Copy the following 3lines code;
[General]
Manufacturer=Your Name
Model=Model Number.
Manufacturer=Your Name
Model=Model Number.
(Note: Modify Your Name and Model Number)
2. Open Notepad and paste the code.
3. Save the file as name OEMINFO.INI and save type as All Files.
4. Save in C:\windows\system folder.(dependent on your computer)
5. Open your any image using Paint.
6. Resize your image and save the image as 16 color Bitmap Image and type the name OEMLOGO.BMP.
7. Save the image in C:\windows\system folder.
8. Now right click on My Computer and select Properties.
You can add more information with this. To add more information follow those steps:
1. Open OMEINFO.INI with Notepad and delete the all code and paste following code:
2. [General]
Manufacturer=Your Name
Model=Model Number.
Manufacturer=Your Name
Model=Model Number.
[Support Information]
Line1="FIRST INFORMATION"
Line2=" SECOND INFORMATION "

Change the name of administrator account(Xp, 7)

1. Open Run.(Windows+R)
2. Type gpedit.msc.
3. Go to following path:
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options
4. Doouble click on Account: Rename administrator account from the right panel.
5. Erase old administrator name and type a new name.
6. Click Apply then Ok.
7. Close Group policy window.

Enable or disable CD auto run (Xp, 7)

1. Open Run.(Windows+R)
2. Type ‘regedit’ and press Enter.
3. Go to following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services.
4. click on Cdrom.
5. Double clock on AutoRun from right panel.
6. Change value data 0or 1.(0 for disable auto run, 1 for enable auto run.)
7. Click ok and close Registry Editor.
8. Restart computer.
Change your My Computer or Recycle Bin icon without any software (Xp)

We can’t change My Computer, Recycle Bin, My Document icon as a normal folder. For change icon of My Computer or Recycle Bin follow those steps:
1. Right click on desktop and select Properties.
2. Select Desktop tab and click on Customize Desktop.
3. Choose the item that you want to change the icon and click Change Icon from general tab.
4. Choose any icon from the list or browse from hard disc to click Browse button.
5. Click Ok three times.

We can change folder icon by following steps:
1. Right click on folder and select properties.
2. Select Customize tab and click Change icon.
3. Select any icon from the list of icon and click OK twice.
But there are limited number of icon. We can select any other icon from herd disc to click Browse button. But this is not permanent. If you move the folder to another drive or another computer then default icon will come back. I show you how to change a folder icon permanently. If you want to change the folder icon for permanently then following these steps:
1. Copy next 3line code.

IconFile=Book.ico
IconIndex=0
2. Open Notepad and paste the code.
3. Click Save As.
4. Type file name “desktop.ini”(without double cote), select Save as type as All Filles and Encoding : Unicode.
5.Save the file in the folder that you want to change icon.
6. Copy an icon (.ico) and paste it in the folder.
7. Open Run.(Winows+R)

9Refresh the folder.

Change AM & PM into any word (Windows Xp)

You can change AM & PM in your notification area into any word using follow those steps:
1. Open Control Panel and click Regional & Language Option .(it will open Regional & Language dialog)
2. Click Customize button. (Customize Regional Option dialog Will open)
3. Select Time tab and change AM & PM symbol into any word.(Word is not longer than 12 character)
4. Click Ok twice.
Change the font of Windows Explorer (Windows Xp)

You can change the font of Windows Explorer and My Computer. Windows Explorer and My computer are use same font that Windows use for icon title. If you want to change the font style or font size of Windows Explorer, follow these steps:
1. Open the Display Properties by right click on desktop and select Properties.
2. Select Appearance tab then click Advance.
3. Select Icon from the dropdown list. (From Item Dropdown list)
4. Choose any font from dropdown list and select size.
5. Click OK twice.

Windows Key + Tab: Cycle through the buttons in the Task Bar.
Windows Key + D: Minimize or restore all windows
Windows Key + E: Launch Windows Explorer
Windows Key + F: Launch Search for Files
Windows Key + Ctrl + F: Launch Search for Computers [1]
Windows Key + F1: Launch the Help and Support Center
Windows Key + R: Launch the Run dialog box
Windows Key + Pause/Break: Launch System Properties dialog box
Windows Key + M: Minimizes all open windows.
Windows Key + Shift + M: Undo minimize all windows.
