Set and Remove startup password of windows(for XP)

To set Password:

1. Go to Following path:
    My Computer-> C:\->Windows-> System32
2. Open Syskey then click Ok.
3. (Expression enable)Update.
4. Choose Password startup.
5. Type password and retype for confirm password.(don't forget the Password)
6. Click Ok twice.
7. Restart Computer.

To Remove password:

1. Go to Following path:
    My Computer-> C:\->Windows-> System32
2. Open Syskey.
3. Update.
4. Choose System Generate Password then click Ok.

Make a folder with password protected without any softwere(for Xp)

1. Create a folder of  any name.(For instance create a folder in desktop with named 'picture'.)
2. Open Notepad and type the following code:
    ren folder_name folder_name.{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}
3. Click File then select SaveAs.
4. Save the file in same directory where folder located and the file with any_name.bat (Here lock.bat) and select save type "All(*.*).
5. Create a another notepad file and type following code:
    ren folder _name.{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D} folder_name and save as above procedure with different name.(Here key.bat)
6. Click loc.bat.(The icon of the folder will change and the folder will be locked.)
7. To unlock click key.bat

Create zip folder with password protected


1. Right click on a folder and go to Send to then click on Compressed(Zipped) folder(Click yes if needed).
(it will create a zip file with same name.)

2. Delete the original file.

3. Right click on the zipped file go to Open with click Compressed(Zipped) folder.
    (A window with filename will be open.)
4. Click File, click Add a Password or Set Password.

5. Type a Password and retype to confirm then click Ok.
6. Close window.
7. Now the zipped file is password protected.

Create a ultra hidden folder(Xp, 7)

1. Create a folder.
2. Right click on it and select Rename.

3. Type "Alt+0160"(Note: Use numeric keypad to press number) then press Enter.


Ahter press Enter 
 

   4. Right click on the folder and select Properties.
5. Click Customize tab.

6. Click on Change icon.


7. Select a Blank icon then click Ok.


8. Click Apply then click Ok.
